Opening lecture on Eanghave Plads Park, a unique project that combines a neighborhood and climatic perspective, in the Vesterbro neighborhood in Copenhagen - which has become a model for managing and utilizing rainwater and preparing for climate change.
A lecture by Iris Kashman, Deputy Chief Planner, Strategic Planning, Tel Aviv Region Planning Committee.
ולאחר מכן, שיח פתוח על היערכות לשינוי אקלים ברמה השכונתית בישראל, והדרכים שבהן רשויות מקומיות יכולות להסתכל על אקלים דרך מסגרת שכונתית, בהנחיית דר’ אורלי רונן, ממיזם האקלים של אוניברסיטת תל אביב.
Focusing on two neighborhood authority projects -
1. Sustainable neighborhoods project. A presentation by Moran Salakmon, who is in charge of preparing for climate change and Tali Gat, director of the sustainable neighborhoods program.
2. Ya'alim neighborhood - the oldest neighborhood in Eilat. A presentation by Shira Harosh, environmental planning coordinator at Eilat's environmental quality unit.
